My nephew Noah has enlisted in the U.S. Army with an eye toward becoming
a Ranger. He leaves in September. He’s resisted getting any kind of
part-time job until then, because, as he puts it, he wants to have one
last summer as a kid. So, I made him mow my lawn.

Heh heh heh.

I don’t imagine he’ll be /that/ easy to push around when he gets back
from basic.

But look at this kid! Can you imagine anyone with this baby face
becoming a trained killer? Then I remember that they are all kids. They
are all somebody’s sons, daughters, nieces and nephews.

Anyway, I’m as proud as an uncle can be. I try to give him advice, but
what do I know?
