Local heroes

February 27, 2005 in The Wire

Copley Press reports that Army Staff Sgt. Daniel G. Gresham, 23, a resident of nearby Lincoln, Ill., was killed while was disarming a bomb Thursday in Iraq.

Also, Army Spc. Jacob C. Palmatier, 29, of Springfield, was killed outside Baghdad by a roadside bomb.

My condolences to their families and friends.

Hate to bust your bubble but the Iraq War is an elective war that is only connected to the 9/11 attacks through Bush’s propaganda.

  2. Bill Dennis Says:

Thank you, Carl. I had been living in a cave, and that was the first time I have been exposed to this sort of drivel before.

Ever dawn on you Carl that Sgt. Gresham and his family didn’t think the war was “elective?” How about a little respect, you ASS.
