This T-shirt is actually from an album by a folk artist Sufjan Stevens who is writing an album about every state in the union. He released his album “Illinois” this year and it’s actually a great sounding piece of music with little tidbits of Illinois history mixed into it.
Reminds me of a shirt I saw that parodied those “Don’t Mess With Texas” state outline shirts in much the same style as the one above. It said: “Don’t Toy With Illinois!”
