Peoria Pundit on WCBU tonight
January 31, 2006 in Overset Tags: Peoria Chronicle, state of the city, WCBU
There’s no Peoria City Council meeting tonight, so Johnathon Ahl will run a special edition of “Outside the Horseshoe.” He’s going to replay Peoria Mayor Jim Ardis’ “State of the City” address, after which C.J. Summers and I will offer commentary.
It all starts at 7 p.m. on WCBU 89.9 FM.

Actually Bill, the Mayor’s address is at 7pm, followed by you and CJ. The president’s State of the Union will be at 8pm.

I’d rather listen to Jonathon, Bill and C.J. than the President……..

Bill, great job tonight. You three sounded great together. Good comments on the speech. I’m hoping that maybe this could turn out to be soemthing permanent on CBU with the three of you. Kind of a “Capitol Week in Review” except regarding Peoria.

Did you notice how Ardis gave the figure that violent crime went up 19 % (? was that the figure) for the first six months of last year and followed that up with “it dropped significantly” the last six months. I was wondering why he didn’t give an exact figure instead of “significantly”. Maybe it’s just me, but I thought it was odd.

Jonathan, sorry about the misspell.

So Bill is now part of the mainstream media. I guess he has to hate himself now.

Don’t forget - murders in the first half of 05 shot off like a rocket, then sharply declined the last six months.
