If he was talking about Ford Falcons, he might have been OK
Call me crazy, but when you call any black person, let alone Secretary of State

Yeah but if you’re a lefty blogger or editorial cartoonist it’s perfectly OK.
According to the comments coming out of the Media in St. Louis, the announcer claims it was a “slip of the tongue” when he made that statement. He states he meant to say it would be a “coup” for the League! It’s a sorry state of affairs that everyone’s willing to get their “fur in a bunch” over religious or ethnic statements due to an oversensitivity to minor dribbles! Everyone needs to just “Lighten Up”. Time to take the blinders off and look at the bigger picture!
Absolutely, Dave. Remember the guy that got fired for using the word “niggardly”? And he was black! People are far too eager to be offended.
I don’t understand what this has to do with Ford Falcons, but if it is a dig at the Falcon, I may have to ask you to step outside.
I miss my old ‘66!
The Falcon still lives in Oz but it’s now a very attractive & expensive performance sedan. There’s even a Futura model.
I, too, once owned a Ford Falcon. Do you not know that a common nickname for this model of car was “coon?” When I bought the car from the husband of a cousin, it came with a licence plate emblazoned with the word.
I guess it’s ok for Harry Belefonte to call President Bush a terrorist however. Or maybe Charlie Sheen saying the 911 attack was a conspiracy. Where is the accountability there? Mr Lenihan has been a huge supporter of Condoleezza Rice, and the apoligy should have been enough.
Moonbats generally get to say whatever they want with no repercussions.
Like my Dad used to say, “It ain’t right, but it’s true”.
I wonder if Vonster would mind if the guy had said “coon” and meant it?
There is a saying:” many a truth is said in jest”-probably too sophisticated for you bloggers. A slip of the tongue? Who you crapping? Out the door with him!!
If the guy is a big Rice fan then he couldn’t have meant it and it’s much ado about nothing, Cap’n Off.
