This week’s Word of the Street works overtime to provide cover for Ray Lahood. The first snip tells us what a great mediator LaHood is for stepping in to try to broker a compromise between the City of Peoria, Park District and the School District. What they don’t tell the average reader is that Lahood’s Son is married to the daughter of long-time Park District Director Bonnie Noble. One might be inclined to think that Lahood would weigh in on Noble’s side as not to make the Holiday dinners uncomfortable.
