Not much support for ‘Ed,’ even less for the city

There are three letters to the editor in today’s Journal Star responding to Phil Luciano’s column about “Ed,” the dude who thinks it’s reasonable to park his truck in his back yard. One is very critical of the illegal truck parker, one is slightly sympathetic and a third calls Ed a victim of overzealous public employees . All of them are critical of the city.

Bill, your links point to the same letter at the PJS. Doesn’t matter as I agree with all of them and one of them said it the best.

Let me get this straight. Ed breaks the rules, and just becase EVERY other offender doesn’t get caught that makes it okay, yet at the same time he is a victim of the overzealous city employees who at the same time don’t do anything if you call them out.

    Oh… NOW it makes sense.

Yep you got it. But, it doesn’t make it OK but other than that, you got it right. 100%
