The Joe Lieberman/’Snakes on a Plane’ connection

Bruce Kluger, a USA Today columnist has a convoluted theory. Left wingers of the Blogosphere backed Ned Lamont over Lieberman. Lamont won, but Lieberman — now running as an independent — is the man to beat (actually, they are tied in the polls.

The Blogosphere promoted the movie “Snakes on the Plane,” giving it months of pre release hype it wouldn’t have ordinarily received. Still, it didn’t have a big opening at all, Kluger gloats.

There you have it, he says, proof that the Blogosphere is nothing but a paper tiger, so to speak.

Heh.

I’m going to write this one off as another mainstream media guy whistling his way though the graveyard, pretending he isn’t afraid the Blog Monster is going to leap from behind a tree and eat him.

Just like we did to Dan Rather.
