Site issues at BlogPeoria
All Blog Peoria Project Websites were down briefly this morning.
My domain name registrar took my money for the domain re-registration, but their automatic renewal system failed. I made a phone call to them this morning and they manually renewed the domain. As of this writing they tell me that the site will be available within the hour.
My apologies for the inconvenience.
UPDATE: More than an hour has passed, and I’m still not getting access to any BP sites. A second trouble ticket has been submitted. UPDATE 2: A new trouble ticket and a second phone call. Now they are blaming my host. It’s not my host. I’m worried this isn’t going to be fixed before I leave for work. UPDATE 3: OK, it’s not going to be fixed for at least 24 hours. Folks, this IS NOT MT FAULT.

All those lengthy, well researched posts that I was going to write up this morning have now vanished from my brain. Darn.
Yeah. Me too.
Blog*Spot is up and running….
Sorry, couldn’t resist. Seriously, though, it’s sooo frustrating when the tech support people just don’t move fast enough and there’s nothing you can do about it. My site was down the night I appeared on the 9:00 news — the timing couldn’t have been worse. Could I do anything about it besides vent my frustration at the tech support person on the phone? Nope. Arrrgh.
If there were even a post that Bill would like to take back, it’d be his “Blog*Spot Is Screwed” post from 4 short days ago.
Yeah, Bill, how’s that shoe taste?
I had all kinds of fun things from this weekend to write about. The Tigers are in the World Series, among other things. My dreams have been crushed. For shame, Bill(y) Dennis. For shame.
Billy, whenever I renew a domain name, I do a whois right before, shortly after, and again about 24 hours later, making copies of the records each time. Not that I don’t trust, but mistakes do happen.
wow, how can they stey in business with that kind of service. amazing and sad.
You should go with a domain registration website that offers money back guarantee such as http://www.NamesrLimited.com
good luck with your blog.
I want my blog back (pouting).
It’s all Bush’s fault.
It’s Dennis Green’s fault.
I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I’m sorry ….
No, it’s Matt Leinart’s fault.
