Gary Sandberg for governor?

November 4, 2006
By Billy Dennis

From Prego Man, a real grass roots campaign:

He has more government experience. He’s not cut from “college professor” cloth. He’s strong-willed. He has a proven track record of representation. And, he was once married to a very hot babe.

Rich Whitney has no more business being Governor than I do… and that’s not a damned bit. Sandberg, I believe, would make a great Governor of Illinois. But, a fact is a fact. If I write-in Gary Sandberg, I might feel really good, but I just wasted my sacred vote.

Just like all of you “radical” Whitney backers will do.

Wrong. My vote for Whitney will be counted. Your vote for Gary would be tossed into the trash bin.

And each percentage point for Whitney will further encourage the growth of so-called third parties.

*sniff, sniff* I am SO moved AND touched (in a good sort of way) that Billy actually READ one of my blog thangs… joining the one or two others who done the same.

In the meantime… Billy, ain’t it about time for you to come forth with some predictions for Tuesday’s outcomes, huh?

I would … but doing so would depress me to the degree that I would require hospitalization.

Then… go check mine out, Mr. Dennis. I’ve thrown a few up there just for the fun of it… I’ll provide barf bags to those who so require them.

Voting is a sacred privilege however we waste it with the choices we are given to vote. The two major parties are screwing us.

    Marco – two solutions.

    1. Vote in the primary.
    2. Tear down the barriers for independant candidates.

Bill: Please get your eyes checked or remove the beer goggles. No offense meant but Hot?

I’d vote for Gary. I often disagree with him, but at least Gary says it as he sees it. I always vote for him because I sincerely appreciate a politian who doesn’t put a wet finger in the air in order to judge public opinion and then vote accordingly. I think much of Peoria feels this way, hence, Gary gets more votes than any other At-large candidate.

And, yeah, Vonster, Babs is hot! All smart women are hot- even if they are liberal democrats.

Babs is hot, I agree. Smart like Polly said, works really hard for her constituents and dresses very well! And as a fellow Dem – she’s got it all!

The most excitign this about a Gary Sandberg for Governor campaign is that a post on the subject has promted a response from Polly Peoria herself! Woo Hoo. When are we going to see some posts?

Gary is somewhat honest, and has a good attitude, but nobody in their right mind would vote for him.
