No, thank ‘you,’ Eric

Thanks to Chicago Tribune columnist/blogger Eric Zorn for thinking of me, among others, in his piece on Time Magazine annual event:

Time’s cover article argued that “You” deserved it “for seizing the reins of the global media, for founding and framing the new digital democracy [and] for working for nothing and beating the pros at their own game.”

[snip]

“You” are Larry Handlin, Dan Curry, “Austin Mayor,” Bill Dennis, Tom Roeser, Jeff Berkowitz, Dan Johnson-Weinberger and all the other state and local political bloggers as well as the volunteer contributors to Chicagoist, Gapers Block and Schadenfreude.

Cool. Praise from the Z-man. It’s a bigger honor than looking at my reflection on some lame magazine cover. I’d include C.J. in that list as well.
