The Peoria Chamber of Commerce had their ass handed to them in the last municipal election after all the candidates they endorsed lost.
Now a former Chamber Chairman has been elected–except that the Chamber pooped on him by endorsing 6 candidates for five seats while leaving their former Chairman out. Best thing they could do for Montelongo. He had a chance to win once the Chamber got out of the way. Sandberg also once gain poked them in the eye by coming in first place. The Peoria Chamber leadership needs a good housecleaning for many reasons. One is that their record over several municipal elections is laughable.
