Another reason to love Drew Barrymore

Via WWTI:

Actress Drew Barrymore is the latest celebrity to be named as an ambassador for humanitarian organization the United Nations (U.N.).

The star will take the role of Ambassador Against Hunger for the United Nations World Food Program, joining the campaign to improve the lives of people in poor countries.

So, for the first time in my 43 years of life, the United Nations does something useful.

“So, for the first time in my 43 years of life, the United Nations does something useful.”

(crowd roars)”…and with that, the U.N. takes a 1-0 lead over the Religious Right!”

BJ, you are a very generous person. After all, the score of a UN vs. Religious Right grudge match would clearly be negative on both sides. :)
