Around the blogosphere
A few links:
- Jeff Jarvis doesn’t think much of the New York Times downplaying the JFK Airport terrorist plot because it’s only news when the government fails to stop terrorism from happening.
- Before and after? No. And I think that’s a miserable thing to suggest about Elisha Cuthbert.
- There is a very crude joke I could use to describe this funny lolcat post, but I won’t.
- They’re sucking up to the Chi-Coms in Utah. Remind me to buy a “Free Tibet” T-shirt for the next time the commissars from Benxi show up at Peoria City Hall.
- Speaking of the m*********ing Chinese, they don’t have to worry about tree-hugging Sierra Club envirowackoes polluting the electoratal process, thus screwing up the decision-making by their leaders. Therefore, they base their decisions on reason, science and their stated desire to dominate the world. Therefore, the are going to be investing heavily in pebble-bed nuclear power reactors. So while we are sucking the fumes from coal, China will be enjoying plentiful and pollution free power. Hat tip, Knowledge is Power.

Careful, Sir Pundit. Regarding the "m*********ing Chinese" … other than that incisive and poignant opening criticism, your comments might actually be construed as admiration for Chinese innovation in the realm of nuclear power. You wouldn't want to say anything complementary about our hated enemies, would you?Just a thought … you might want to consider taking a break from blogging about China, Billy. The foam dripping from your mouth might short out your keyboard.
Oh, I'm on a China kick right now, that's for sure. Mainly it's because a bunch of china related news seems to be coming to m attentioon.
And the Chinese didn't invent the pebble-bed reactor, so there's no "harm" in my talking up the technology.
What the hell is the deal with that Cat blog? I read through a few posts and almost wanted to shoot myself by the 3rd or 4th one. Whats wrong with those people? Is that really how they communicate on a daily basis?
Scott A: You, sir, have no sense of lighthearted humor.
LOL, light hearted humor? I thought the picture was fairly entertaining, but the related posts were utter nonsense. Can you even understand what they say? At first I thought that it was a foreign language, but then I realized that it was just a bunch of adults talking like 2nd graders. I have heard more intelligent things come out of my 2 year olds mouth. I didn't know that I would have to take up a second language to do this blog thing.
