Today’s news: Up and running
Someone at the Journal Star fixed the Website, so here are the links:
- Kudos to the Peoria Fire Department for their rescue of an 82-year-old woman.
- GateHouse News Service discovers that ethics isn’t a high priority in Illinois government. D’ya think?
- Doug Finke has more on our do-as-I-say-not-as-I-do governor.
- This is why I use cash.
- I’m glad the rallies against violence went off without a hitch. I’m also glad the plans to burn CD, t-shirts, etc., fell through. Reminds me too much of book burning.
- “Hello. We’re from the government and we’re here to make your last days on Earth as miserable and painful as possible. The stench of rotting flesh is just a happy bonus”

That story about the compounding pharmacies made me furious. “Hello, we’re deeply-entrenched multi-billion-dollar pharmaceutical companies and we haven’t bled Americans quite dry yet. So from now on? Pharmacists are to be forbidden from doing the job they’re trained to do. Now we only need monkey who can count pills.”
I love Preckshott. We have to get cat meds there sometimes, since they’re often just people meds in very small doses with alternative delivery systems. So you go to Preckshott and get your cat antibiotic or whatever in a transdermal formula you can rub on their ear, which is very cool and involves much less biting.
Also, can you fix your comments so Firefox can make paragraphs again? This is so irritating.
Oh, hey look at that.
