Rachel Corrie’s parents still trying to squeeze money out of Caterpillar

July 12, 2007
By Billy Dennis

Remember Rachel Corrie? She’s the flag burning terrorist-loving twit who got who stupid, sorry ass run over by a bulldozer trying to prevent the Israeli Defense force from tearing down buildings that were covering up tunnels used by Gaza strip terrorists.

The loony left is of course mad at Caterpillar for having the nerve to sell construction equipment to Israel. The thinking is that Cat should have known that they would be used to demolish terrorist strong holds, and even if Cat didn’t know, Israel doesn’t have the right to exist anyway.

Rachel’s parents of course sued Caterpillar. That lawsuit was dismissed (because even judges on the west coast aren’t stupid enough to blame Caterpillar) but the Corries appealed, bringing dozens of smelly hippies to a Seattle courthouse to protest at a recent hearing.

My sympathies to Seattle.

NOTE: Perhaps I shouldn’t have posted this, as it doesn’t conform to the irrational hatred of Caterpillar some of my commenters assume I have toward Big Yellow.

Hate tip: John Ruberry.

I’ve always thought that a classic photo because so many of the children in the picture are laughing.

What they’re laughing at is a matter of conjecture…
