You first

Via CNN:

Osama bin Laden stresses the importance of martyrdom for Muslim causes in a videotape that purportedly contains a 50-second message from the al Qaeda leader.

[Snip]

Bin Laden, with a body guard standing directly behind him, is looking down slightly in the video, appearing to address an audience below, which is unseen.

He says that the Prophet Mohammed wanted to be a martyr, and that is a worthy goal for every Muslim.

Of course, “every Muslim” doesn’t include bin Ladin. Guys like bin Ladin and the mullahs don’t really believe in this martyrdom crap or they’ld be the first in line for an explosive vest.

“Happy is the one who was chosen by God as a martyr.”

Yeah. Right. You first.

So, when are bush and cheney going to pick up a gun and join the troops on patrol in Iraq?

JW: Glad to read that you think Bush and Chaney are the moral equivalent of Osama bin Laden. A fan of Ted Rall, by chance?

I have no idea what a Ted Rall is. Now having gone to the link, I can also add that I never read cartoons, politcal or otherwise.

Yes, Billy, I do think that bush and cheney, and rove, et al, are the moral equivalent of bin laden.

Am I banned from life now?
