And I stumbled across this clip, which brought a tear to my eye:
To understand exactly why Cubs fans love Andre Dawson, you have to remember that the man not only gave us games like the one presented above, he was a complete class act, and he literally had to beg to get hired on here, as the ball clubs were at the time colluding to drive down salaries, and they didn’t want to pay him anywhere near what he was already making.

Some observations after watcing that clip:
I really miss Hawk and Harry.
Pretty cool to see ballplayers pre-steroid. Everyone was on a level-playing field back then.
Dewayne Staats was a blip on the Cubs broadcasting radar.
Did you notice the dopey looking player walking behind Dawson in the dugout after the third homer? None other than future terrible G.M. of the Cubs Ed Lynch. What a jack-ass that guy was.
