Breaking news: Blogger Bash is ON, so let’s get ready to R-U-M-B-L-E!
Chef Kevin confirmed today he has make arrangements with the fine folks at the Donnelly’s Shamrock Pub for use of their back room, so Blogger Bash is officially on for 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 30, at the pub located at 4908 N. Renwood Ave, near the corner Glen and War Memorial Drive. Here’s a map.
In order to avoid any additional hurt feelings over the location of the next bash — which tradition calls for to be held on fifth Tuesdays of the month — I’ll go on record today and cast my vote for Buffalo Wild Wings. Even though I’ve never been inside one of these places, I’m sure I’ll hate it. But much like parents will endure a trip to Chuck E. Cheeze in order to indulge a child, I will make this sacrifice for peace among the Peoria Blogosphere.
Maybe I spoke too soon. There might be a fist fight after all. I hope not. But I have $5 down on Chef Kevin. I’m betting he’s had to tangle with an unruly dishwasher or two in his career.

I don’t recall saying anything about fisticuffs. This Travis fellow was rather professional and well-mannered. I seriously doubt he’s going to risk his job and reputation to get in a brawl with a motley crew (Crue??) of 15 in the back of a pub.
And Bill, don’t be such a baby. You’re acting like a little kid that decides he doesn’t like mashed potatoes before he tries them.;)
