Politics: Obama smells blood in the water
Ann Althouse has this quote from Barack Obama:
“Sen. Clinton is claiming basically the entire eight years of the Clinton presidency as her own, except for the stuff that didn’t work out, in which case she says she has nothing to do with it,” said Barack Obama.
“There is no doubt that Bill Clinton had faith in her and consulted with her on issues, in the same way that I would consult with Michelle, if there were issues. On the other had, I don’t think Michelle would claim that she is the best qualified person to be a United States Senator by virtue of me talking to her on occasion about the work I’ve done.”
Amen, brother. Sen. Clinton constantly mentions her experience. What experience? She entered the Senate at the exact same time as four years earlier than Barack Obama. Before that day Obama was a legislator concerned with the business of governing. Senator Clinton, on the other hand, had never served in any elected office previously. Her political work basically involved setting the cause of universal health care back 20 years She then spent the remainder of her husband two terms by keeping him in office and out of jail after being accused of assaulting women and then lying under oath about his affair with an intern.
Oh, yeah. Obama isn’t running for the vice presidency here.
He’s heading for a win in Iowa. It’s going to take more than that to drive a stake through her candidacy. If history has taught us nothing is that these people have no sense of personal shame and are capable of sliming anyone who gets in their way. But while Bill Clinton was a likable, good-ole-boy, Hillary is well, not. Losing Iowa will take away her biggest weapon, the myth of her invincibility.
UPDATED: Time frame corrected.

Bill-I agree about Clinton’s lack of experience, but she does actually have more time in the Senate than Obama. She was elected in 2000 and Obama in 2004. Just a technicality…one which I only caught because I was living in the NY and got to experience the Clinton Machine at the time. And it wasn’t exactly fun.

Great pic!
Are you a Republican?
If Hillary has no experience, what is Obama going to rely on? All those Oprah Winfrey watchers nationwide? Think there’s enough of those women and liberal men spread out in all the states to carry him? I’m thinking, no. So Obama is an exellent choice if your wishing for Rudy, Mitt, or maybe even Blowin in the Wind John McCain…
