Happy Holiday
December 23, 2007 in Overset
I’ll bet Bill gets all teary-eyed reading this article from Michigan.
Since I am going to be busy today with the in-laws and tomorrow, taking the kids to see Alvin and the Chipmunks, I will take this opportunity to wish you all a Merry Christmas. I hope that this is second best Christmas, ever. (It’d be very hard to top the first one.)

I no longer celebrate Festivus, as it has become too commercialized.

Anon, your kids will LOVE the Chipmunk movie. We are still talking about it!

Alvin and the Chipmunks? Don’t do it - take it from one who saw it …

Kid friendly movie (ages 5,8,11,12) suggestions are welcome.
“Enchanted” seems the only other kids-friendly option @ Pekin.
They seemed jazzed to see this. I am jazzed to eat popcorn.
If we hit another movie during the break it will probably be “Water Horse.”

“Enchanted” was very good — my daughters (ages 7 and 4) and nieces (ages 11 and 9) all enjoyed it. I recommend it.

When the nieces and neohews were younger, it was a family tradition to take ‘em out to see a movie. Now … they have their own families, etc.
I am sad.
And, I am working on Christmas Eve and Christmas.

Movie never happened.
Kids sometimes don’t allow themselves to have a good time.
One way or another, those rooms were going to get clean.
