Blogging: Some payback linkage

December 24, 2007 in Citizen Journalism

I’ve been remiss in notifying readers of new Peoria bloggers and acknowledging incoming links:

  • I almost don’t want to mention Bill Poorman’s blog, ’cause he named the damn thing “Will It Play In Peoria.” Hat tip to Jonathan Ahl. UPDATE: My mistake. It’s called “Does It Play Near Peoria?” which is SOOOOOOO different.
  • My recent anti-Confederate rant got mentioned on the Abe Lincoln Observer.
  • I don’t play the piano, and my voice sounds like little girl who’s been inhaling helium. But other than that, PeoriaIllinoisan’s theoretical Peoria blogger ragtime band is pretty accurate. I’d pay hard cash to see Jonathan Ahl play the tuba.
  • For someone who’s sworn off blogging, Scott Janz has been posting a lot. And he’s been a guest blogger on WHOI, too.
  • Although she probably suspects I’m in the pay of Pioneer Railcorp, Elaine Hopkins sends some love my way because of my recent posts about the Aaron Schock polls.
  • Finally, I cannot find the link now, but there are two Springfield radio personalities who’ve started a blog that links to Peoria pundit. Someone please send me a link.

  1. Bill Poorman Says:

Hey, Billy, if you’re going to criticize something, you might try get the name right. But thanks for the mention anyway.
