Site news: Ch-ch-ch-changes
It’s been three months. I couldn’t resist the urge any longer.
I changed my theme again. As readers have no doubt noticed.
I did it to accommodate a new ad scheme.
I’m now selling ads without any help from third-party agents like Project Wonderful*, Blogads or Google AdSense. I was getting most of my revenue from people to whom I can can sell directly, without having them take as much as half off the top. That just wasn’t in my interest, so I changed my rate card to reflect the change and to make it less complicated.
I am keeping Text-Link-Ads, though. These folks consistently send me money ranging from $40-80 a month. Google, considers them a competitor, and will downgrade your ranking for using them.
* Of the three I mentioned, Project Wonderful was the easiest and quick-paying. I recommend it to anyone wanted to generate a little revenue without a lot of hassle.

This is the least objectionable theme experiment you’ve come up with in a long time. In fact, it’s fairly attractive. My only complaint so far is that the names of commenters should appear over the comment, not under. It would be less confusing and look better.
ExJser: “least objectionable” is what I was shooting for. Thanks. Seriously, I’ll be making a few changes to the commenting.
Hey, where’s all the Gravatars? I thought they were of vital importance to you.
I really like this new look. Nicely done.
What theme is this? I like it.
Gravatars will be added soon. Thanks for the interest.
The addition of a “home” button is a huge improvement. If there was one on the old site, I couldn’t find it.
You have text-link ads? I don’t see a single one, at least in the first page of posts.
Like the layout and design. The pea green headers are a bit shocking but I’ll get used to it.
I suppose they are better than pea green soup.
