Site Manager for the Peoria Historical Society resigns

I just received a letter from Deanna Shireman announcing her resignation. Deanna managed the Flanagan and Pettengill-Morron house museums for the Peoria Historical Society. She also coordinated the many, many volunteer efforts that help out in the gift shops, fundraiser dinners, open houses, and Holiday events at the properties. Anyone who has had the pleasure of knowing Deanna Shireman will realize what a loss this is for the Society. She had a thorough knowledge of the history of the homes and loved to share it with her visitors. I will miss her bubbling personality, and the way she made the volunteers feel so welcome and important. My very best wishes to her in her future endeavors!

Crappy. I wonder… does anyone know what role the Peoria Historical Society is going to have at Lakeview Museum?

Agh, sorry, the new downtown museum, not Lakeview.
