The adoption of the P2 theme is more than just another case of the administrator making a change for change’s sake. P2 is a theme that will change how readers interact with each other.
The theme makes any WordPress blog operate like Twitter. Anyone who wants to register as a new member automatically gets the ability to enter posts from the front page. I’ll go through the file of registered users and upgrade some regular commenters from “subscriber” to “contributor” status.
Like Twitter, these posts are limited to 140 characters. Got a piece of information or an idea you want to share with the 1,000-plus people who visit this site every day? Just visit the site and make a hassle-free post. It’s a great way to share links of interest.
Also, all comments are now visible on the front, without having to click on the “comments” button to read them.
Blogs have always been interactive. This theme makes this even more true. And the more people who comment and make lucid posts, the better this blog will be.
Remember: The Rules are still in effect. Act like a troll, and you’ll get banned.
