I see no contradiction in being opposed to spending money and then saying, “but if we’re going to spend, the way to spend is …”

I love false dichotomies, straw men and other debating weapons …

I also love Obama’s stand that we need to leave enemy countries alone even when they’re building nuclear weapons & actively threatening others (Iran) and yet tries to bully an allied country upholding it’s own constitution on order of it’s own supreme court (Honduras).

No. It's actually the opposite of myopia. Myopia would be: "I don't care that high health care costs are destroying the economy, I am ideologiclaly opposed to 'socialized medicine.' ---which is, I believe, YOUR position.
