And correct me if I am wrong, but I believe Clayborne was on the inside with Blago which won't help his chances much. Mayer's failure had less to do with Hynes and everything to do with Mayer. I wouldn't use that campaign as a measuring stick for his popularity in the area. If the field is Clayborne, Quinn, and Hynes then Hynes wins.
