Some political musical chairs in the Heights
This sounds like potential fodder for PH Pundit:
To Trustee Scott Owen, losing the chairmanship of the Peoria Heights Village Board’s ambulance committee looked, felt and smelled like a quick demotion just three months into his first term.
Worse, it felt like a demotion rooted in retribution.
To Mayor Mark Allen, moving Owen to another committee, a new one he created for the situation, was simply his effort at making peace and finding a better fit for the rookie trustee.
Their opinions of the matter could not be further apart.
Speaking of the Heights, they’ve got an officer out there who, according to a young lady I know, kept getting stopped by the same Peoria Heights police officer. Despite multiple traffic stops, she never got a ticket once. The problem was solved when she moved out of the heights.
I think there are several situations they need to examine in Peoria Heights.

Mark Allen is dictatorial. If you don’t agree he runs roughshod over you. Scott Owen is not the puppet Allen thought he would be when he recruited him to run.
That’s odd. I hear that Scott Owen is becoming a puppet of Earl Carter and Andrea Pendleton.
It must be in the water because my wife (not at the time) had a policeman trail her nearly everyday he worked. No fear tho, he’s a peoria cop now!
