Sleeping about 10 hours a day now
In the interest of disclosure:
Have my MRI scheduled for today. I’ll try to spread the payments across time.
With luck my primary care physician will be able to diagnose officially what the problem is when I see her tomorrow.
But I’ll probably be shunted off to another specialist after I see her.
Right now, all the meds are doing is making it possible for me to barely move. I can walk to or from a car if I walk slowly. I can sit uncomfortably for about 15 minutes at a time.
Sos some reason my voice is coming out raspy.
The medication does make be groggy, and I end up sleeping it off. After three days of it, I’m not even getting a buzz, but just grogginess and the need to sleep it off.
Getting worried about addiction.
I did the math and I’m sleeping about 10 hours a day. I usually got 6-7 hours a night.
I can’t really get any work done on the computer. I’ve written some blog posts, but had to take them down later.
In addition to losing work, I am turning down for-pay projects helping others with their blog issues.

Take it easy with the Vicoden (or whatever it is exactly). That’s some evil stuff.
Hope you get better.
Yikes — take mental notes, as you can do a good story on the health care system after you feel better. Good luck.
Sometimes pain killers don’t help the pain much – they just mess you up. Take it easy and hope the MRI shows something. Hope you are able to drive ok. Take care.
