‘Memory — er, uh — Lapses at the Union-Tribune’
The San Diego Reader has a good blog entry about some legal issues at the San Diego Union-Tribune. Seems someone just might have been caught telling a lie on the company’s behalf.
Before GateHouse Media assumed control over the Journal Star and just about every other local newspaper, the joint was owned by Copley Press, which also used to own the UT.
I thought Journal Star employees past and present might enjoy the schadenfreude.
As Peoria Pundit readers may recall, GateHouse is accusing Copley of forgetting to pay termination benefits, per their agreement.
