The agenda for Tuesday’s Peoria City Council meeting is out and there’s a doozy of a document attached to it.
One of the items on the consent agenda is renewal of the levy for the East Bluff Neighborhood Housing Services Special Services Area.
Attached to the request is a document — unsigned — that makes all sort of claims about the EBNHS.
I’m not going to go into details because I’ve heard only one side.
But the item is going to be deferred to give the people involved a chance to resolve their differences.
NOTE: Everyone play nice in the comments section.

Are you referring to the annual report?
Yes. Who issued this?
The EBNHS Board or Directors and they are so proud of it that the President of the board would not present it at the annual meeting, he had the vice president present it and catch all the heat from the people gathered.
The East Bluff N-H-S was a good organization when it first started 20 years ago. The first 10 years was good the past 10 years have not been so good. Why should we in the East Bluff give the EBNHS 10 more years of our tax dollars through our property taxes? Some years ago during the past 10 years the city asked for a large amount of money back from them so why should we tax payers give any more. There is a petition drive to close them down.
