I’m giving a shout-out to Roger Monroe’s column, which raises some of the same complaints I and others have about the unwarranted influence the Peoria Area Chamber seems to have over politics and policy making here in Peoria. Monroe pooints out that no one outside the organization can even find out who sit’s on the group’s committee that decides who is endorsed and why.
