Local newspapers slow to report on jet service changes

If you do a lot of traveling, you really ought to read David Jordan’s blog. He’s often the ONLY source of new information about service out of the Peoria and Bloomington airpots. I know it sometimes seems like reporters are asleep, but I know how overworked they are. Sometimes, there just aren’t enough bodies in the newsroom to do the reporting.

About Billy Dennis

Billy Dennis is lifelong Peorian, having attended Kingman, Glen Oak, Woodruff High School and Illinois Central College before finally tricking Eastern Illinois University into granting him a bachelor's degree in journalism. He's reported on police, fires, labor, local government and schools all across Illinois and Missouri. A former liberal Democrat, life experience turned him into a small-l libertarian.

  1. The PJStar finally has it up at 3:45pm. Like WMBD radio 1470, however, they get the start date wrong. The upgrades begin on April 6. The full, all-jet schedule begins on the 7th.

  2. Dee says:

WCBU had this story late last week.
