Water Company tries 1 last price gouge before buyout happens
The Illinois American Water Company has told the city that it plans to seek an 8-percent increase in water rates, the Journal Star reported today. Since IAWCO took over the water company, rates have risen about 8.8 percent annually.

Nothing in this article changes my original prediction. The water buyout will pass by one vote:
Yes: Sandberg, Grayeb, Manning, Van Auken, Gulley and Spears.
No: Ardis, Nichting, Morris, Turner and Jacob.
