Gretchen Wilson postponed a concert in Huntsville, Ala., and canceled another in Perry, Ga., after her doctor advised her to rest her voice.“There is nothing urgent about her condition,” said her publicist Michele Schweitzer. “She has been working non-stop for 15 months and this is the best time for her to take a rest.”
The Huntsville show has been moved from Oct. 7 to Dec. 17, and the Perry concert has been canceled with the hope of rescheduling in 2006.
Wilson, whose hits include “Redneck Woman” and “When I Think About Cheating,” is scheduled to begin “The Revolution Tour” with Big & Rich and the Muzik Mafia on Nov. 4 in Houston.
